A GYM TO OUR MIND


   Awareness is a kind of mental muscle which becomes stronger as it exercises. Memory aimed tasks develop this muscle as well as concentration does.

   Noticing the moment when our mind starts to be distracted, and bringing it back again and again towards our goal is the mental equivalence to continuous weight lifting.




   This is the essence of concentration on one point, boosted by meditation. This also involves training our attention. This way our brain receives the command to focus on one object or word. However, after some time, our mind usually becomes absent.


   By means of this technique, it is possible to focus our attention on something we are interested to learn and to keep awareness for a longer time.
