We convey non-verbal messages which silently modulate
what we are saying in all those situations in which we deal with other people:
Greetings, meetings, negotiations, and so on.
All our interactions are linked to a continuous
information stream which carries non-verbal information flowing in both
directions. The messages delivered in this means are at least as important as
what we may even be telling.
Candidates to a post are more likely to be hired if
they move in accordance to what they are commenting. If this synchrony does
not take place, the interviewer may
think the candidates are not sincere and thus they may not be chosen for that
post.
