WHICH REQUISITS DO FIRMS REQUEST IN THE RECRUITING PROCESS?

80% of job offers display the need for one or two foreign languages when it comes to business negotiation and exports. The most requested languages are English and German. French, Chinese, Arabic or Russian appear afterwards.

65% of Spanish candidates are not able to hold an interview in English. Most Spanish students study this language during their school years and stop learning it in their quest for labour issues ahead.

Thus, it is highly recommended not to quit the language, to try to maintain the level of Grammar achieved and see to apply it to their speaking skills, which will be, in the long term, the cornerstone to set the difference among candidates during the recruiting process.

A certificate may open doors ahead, but the ability to prove our skills will certainly open the door to the future in the labour world.

REFLECTION ON CHILDREN´S EDUCATION: EDUCATING EMOTIONS

Emotional Intelligence is a great deal of talk. However, this concept is not yet, generally speaking, applied nor at school nor at home when it comes to educating children and teens.

To start applying it step by step, a change of mentality will be necessary in parents as well as in teachers. The first step has to do with the change of the approach of easy questions suchlike: How was your day? How about your grades?
